Marijo Ribas is a multidisciplinary artist, graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. She did an Erasmus at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, Frankfurt, Postgraduate in Design, Art and Society and a Master in Artistic Productions and Research. Since 2003 Ribas participated in exhibitions and collective projects in public and private spaces in Spain, Portugal, France, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom or Germany. She carried out numerous residencies in production and research centers such as: Las Cigarreras Alicante, MediaLAB Prado Madrid, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop or Belgrade A.I.R, among others.

"I believe in the capacity of art as a thought activator, for this reason each of my projects is born from an investigation and narrative. I am interested in the intersection between disciplines: art / history, art / science, art / life. I formalize my work according to the characteristics of each project, especially from video, photography or installation."

Marijo Ribas es artista multidisciplinar, licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona. Realizó un Erasmus en Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, Frankfurt, Postgrado en Diseño, Arte y Sociedad y un Máster en Producciones Artísticas e Investigación. Desde 2003 ha participado en exposiciones y proyectos colectivos en espacios públicos y privados en España, Portugal, Francia, Bulgaria, Reino Unido o Alemania. Ha realizado numerosas residencias en centros de producción e investigación como: Las Cigarreras Alicante, MediaLAB Prado Madrid, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop o Belgrade A.I.R, entre otras.

"Creo en la capacidad del arte como activadora de pensamiento, por esta razón cada uno de mis proyectos nace de una investigación y narrativa. Me interesa la intersección entre disciplinas: arte/historia, arte/ciencia, arte/vida. Formalizo mi trabajo según las características de cada proyecto, sobre todo a partir del vídeo, la fotografía o la instalación."
