CATI BAUZÀ

Cati Bauza has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, with a postgraduate degree in Significant and Spiritual Values from the UDG, and specialized in Landscape Design from the UIB. She teaches Art and Design in the Balearic Islands, and is a practitioner of Qi Gong and internal arts, which profoundly influence her work. In her work, the artist explores the infinite structures and plots with the attention to recover and show what is invisible and latent. The investigation of forms, composition and geometry as an internal / external landscape become a precise link to reconnect with the subtle.
Through participation in workshops and exhibitions, her work is part of the Bologna Graphic Work Archive, the UB Faculty of Fine Arts and the Pilar y Joan Miró Foundation in Palma.
Honorable mention in the Pilar Juncosa training, experimentation and creation scholarships. Prize in the 1st Sculpture Contest of St. Lorenzo, Mallorca.

Cati Bauza licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona, con un posgrado en Significantes y Valores Espirituales en la UDG, y especializada en Diseño de Paisaje por la UIB. Ejerce como Docente en Arte y Diseño de las Islas Baleares, y es practicante de Qi Gong y artes internas, que influencias profundamente su obra. En su obra, la artista explora las estructuras y tramas infinitas con la atención de recuperar y mostrar aquello invisible y latente. La investigación de las formas, la composición y la geometría como paisaje interno/externo acontecen un enlace preciso para reconectarse con lo sutil.
Mediante participaciones en talleres y exposiciones, su obra forma parte del Archivo de Obra Gráfica de Bolonia, de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la UB y de la Fundación Pilar y Joan Miró de Palma. Mención de honor en las becas de formación, experimentación y creación Pilar Juncosa. Premio en el I Certamen de Escultura de St. Lorenzo, Mallorca. Ha sido finalista en varias convocatorias de premios de artes plásticas y participando en varias colectivas y exposiciones individuales en Mallorca y exposiciones itinerantes de obra gráfica en Mallorca, Cataluña e Italia.
